Our Mountain climbing adventure takes you Mt. Elgon on the borders of Uganda and Kenya. Mt. Elgon is the eighth highest mountain in Africa and has the largest base area of any freestanding volcano in the world. It contains a 40 km. caldera rim composed of several rugged mountains over 4000m high.

Mount Elgon is a relatively easy climb for anyone who wants to have this experience under their belt. All our guides speak Swahili and English fluently. The guides are able to assess the abilities of the climbers as they climb so they are aware of those requiring added assistance. In case anyone is not able to reach the summit, there will be a qualified person to remain or descend with them as need be.

Our itinerary involves a scenic hike ascending by the Piswa Route from the north and a descent via the Sasa Route to the west, offering a spectacular trip.
